Best poster awards - Announcement

 Two ex-aequo first place awards were attributed:

      Title:   Asphalt aggregate adhesion: Study of the influence of the morphological, chemical and mineralogical properties of different aggregates from southern Brazil

Congratulations to the authors of these two interesting works!

Between 120 and 160 papers are selected for poster presentation.

Posters and on-line poster presentations

• All posters and short recorded videos will be available on the conference website for registered participants.
• Authors of selected posters were invited to send to the organizing committee a 3-minute presentation of the poster(s) (recorded video or commented .ppt files, maximum of 3 slides) by Friday, November 27^th 2020. This allowed competing for the Best poster awards.
• All short recorded videos will be available on the conference website for registered participants.

Rules for best poster award

• All posters for which a poster presentation video (or commented .ppt) is sent to the organizing committee compete for two best poster awards (1^st and 2^nd place).
• An award jury (Chairman: Prof. William G. Buttlar, University of Missouri, USA)  will evaluate the posters and poster video presentations before the conference. The best 12 candidates will be selected for projection during two special plenary sessions in the afternoons of Monday, December 14^th and Tuesday, December 15^th. During these sessions, the 3-minute videos or poster presentations of the selected best 12 candidates will be displayed.
• The award jury will select the two best posters (with relative presentations) and the authors will be awarded during the closing ceremony.

Registered participants will have access to all papers, posters, poster presentation videos and recorded sessions through a special version of the final program that can be downloaded from the "Program with dowload links (for registered participants)" page after logging in on the conference website.
